From a puppy Rowdy has achieved well in the ring, he contines to be placed highly in Limit and Open classes and has one Challenge Certificate and a Reserve. Rowdy loves to love. He is eager to please, easy to train and a wonderful companion.  He relishes his walks, bounds extravagantly through the woods and over the fields. He has a keen interest in game and we may explore some training at a later date. Rowdy has had much success in the ring, he really enjoys himself. We run at the beach weekly and he loves the water! He really enjoys the company of other dogs and loves nothing more than snuggling up with me, Breeze, Rebel and Pixi Beagle.

Blood Donor
Rowdy gave blood to a Spaniel injured badly in an RTA in July 08. Being the only dog over 20kg at work that evening, he stepped up. The Spaniel recovered well, probably with an extra bounce in his step from Rowdy blood. He was very good and sat for a long 5 minutes with a large needle in his neck. His reward was a big bag of mixed meats from the sandwich store across the road. We have no started a blood donor register at work, of which all my dogs are now on.

In The Wars
August 08 has been a quiet month for us as Rowdy ripped his underside jumping some barbed wire. He managed to remove his sutures five days post op, meaning it had to be re-done. He also reacted to the SC antibiotics and painkillers, leaving him with an imflamed neck to boot!
July 09 saw Rowdy quite lame for a couple of weeks, sadly making us miss Leeds. Thankfully it was only a soft tissue injury and after being strapped up for a while, he made a full recovery.

1st
Hamilton’s Hawkfield Lets Get Rowdy JW ShCM: A striking b/w young dog that stands over his ground well; he has a beautiful well shaped head and the first thing that strikes you is the depth & eagerness in his lovely expression; lovely shaped body, couplings & ribbing, lengthy pasterns & good angles; I still think he has a bit more maturing to do to finish the picture, when we will hear more of him; in the challenge both he & I were aware of his owners condition & he moved accordingly and I wasn't able to push him as I would have liked.
